Atrium
This is a shot of the school's old atrium, from the top of the stairs. The camera was a Sony Mavica. It was taken mid-afternoon, and converted to semi-black & white in Photoshop, with slight grain added for effect.

Bavarian Inn
This shot is of a wonderful Inn where my wife and I stayed for our third wedding anniversary. The camera was a Sony Cyber-shot. Very little was done to the photo, besides cropping and mild color correction.

George Pup
This shot is of our dog George. This is the first time we saw him at the breeder's. It was taken with a Canon PowerShot Digital. What website would be complete without a picture of a cute puppy?

George Adult
George earns two spots in the photo section. I like this shot, because it shows George's need to investigate everything. This was moments before having to wipe a nose print off my Sony Cyber-shot.

Sidewalk
This shot is of the street outside of the school's main entrance. The shot was featured on several websites. The camera was a Sony Mavica. Color saturation was greatly increased to make up for an overcast day, and to create a warm effect.

A Portrait
This is a digital painting, working from a photo. It's probably my best, or at least most accurate painting to date. It was also the second time I tried starting with a black canvas and working forward.

Contrasted Portrait
This started as a sketch of someone, and took on a life of its own. I guess you might call it a primative abstract. It's unique, because it was not what I was trying to paint.

Flower
This painting was one of my first digitals. It's been through more computers, sites, and operating systems than I care to mention. But, even for it's age it's still modern looking.

Nerves
This painting started as underwater coral, but ended up looking more like a nerve center. This was right around the time I gave up Mountain Dew for good. I love the colors, and the intricate detail.

Night Beach
I've always prefered the beach at night. This is a tightly-cropped scene of a wicker chairback, with a towel beside, facing the waves. This was done on a Mac, and then slightly color corrected for the PC.

Ocean
This painting was a simple sketch, and a lot of Photoshop effects. I like the textures, and the detail in the water swirls. Water is tough to capture, but this one matched the motion and color I wanted.

Tree Storm
With this painting, I tried to capture the moments before a storm. I'm including it, because it's my wife's favorite. I like the sky, the grass, and the three-dimensional quality of it.
